MainScreen

From left to right, this screen features the following elements:

  • Health: How many 'hit-points' the player has left. If this reaches zero, the game is over.
  • Melee, Ranged, Ultimate, Defence: These four elements are the player's abilities. The icons consist of an icon representing the ability, which is surrounded by coloured numbers that represent how many 'shards' are allocated to that ability, and therefore how powerful it is.
  • Shard Count: In the middle of the screen, four symbols are visible. From left to right, these represent Corrosion, Heat, Iron, and Shock. The number above each icon indicates how many shards the player has in their inventory of the respective shard type, and therefore how many can be spent when the player reaches the end-of-level upgrade screen.
  • Radio: This 'signal receiver' gets more signal the closer the player gets to the goal, getting larger and larger, and flashing quicker and quicker the closer the player gets to the 'portal'.
  • Augmented Health Bars: Each enemy features their own 'health bar' just above their heads. This represents the enemy's health; and therefore can be used to discern how well the player is going in a particular fight.
